  • Member of the Sri Lanka Shcool Netball team for the International School Netball Competition held in Australia.
  • Was able to be a new record holder by being a participant for the 100m in Sir Jone Tarbet Championship.
  • Won colours for the National School Games for 100m second place.
  • Won third place for the long jump event and won National Junior Championship.

  Opening Ceremony Of The New Computer Lab.  [ 2007-09-17 13:18:48 ]

4th of June His Excellency Priminister was the chief gust for the opening ceremony at our school newly build computer lab. The present government donated 10 new computers to the school on the same day. There was a workshop related to Information technology to the school children too. Priminister Mr.Mahinda Rajapaksha, Deputy Education Minister Mr.Mangala Samaraweera, Education Director Mrs.Tara De Mel, Principal Mrs.C.H.Pinidiya are in picture.

  She Is A Glory To Our School  [ 2007-09-17 13:15:34 ]
She is Inoka, Inoka Ganga De Silva Sudusinghe. She was a brilliant star, studied at Sujatha Vidyalaya and was able to be the Island Second from Bio-Science at A/L exam 2004. She got 3.1313 for her Z score.

She is residing at Wawwa, Devinuwara and got a primary education at Methodist College Devinuwara. At there she passed her scholarship examination with higher marks. Her second school was the Vijitha Maha Vidyalaya in Dikwella until her O/L exam. Inoka got through her O/L exam with A for nine subjects and one B pass for remaining subject. Then after Sujatha Vidyalaya became her 3 rd and final school until her A/L. She studied to be a doctor with ultimate motivation.

Inoka is the second of her 4 members' family. Her both parents are school teachers. Her father is Mr.K.D.S.Sudusinghe, at Vijitha Maha Vidyalaya and her mother is Mrs.N.N.S.Sudusinghe, at Thalalla Vidyalaya - South.

The 'Rajya Natya ullela' is comprised with the best stage plays selected from the Drama Competition oraganizing annaually and islandwide. Sujatha Vidyalaya is beign able to paricipate that competion from year 2001.

The Drama "Manasgatha Kolama" directed by Ghanasena Pathirana was staged on behalf of StudentAdvisory Work Shop, Which was organized by by the Education Department and National Education Institute. It was the best Sinhala stage play in 2004.

Since Year 1992 she is a brillent star with her artistic ability and she was able to get first, second and third places during those years.

Most specially she was able to gain good reputation to her mother land as well as to her school by winning International awards from;

  • Sixth annual 'Kanagawa Competition' (1991) - Merit Award - Primary Section
  • 'Shankar International Children's Arts Competition' (1996) - Silver Medal
  • International 'Nippon Children's Arts Competition' (2000) - Gold Medal

She won the first place of the 'Nigata International Children's Arts Competition' in 2004 and was lucky to visit to Japan. Presenty she is in grade 8. There are some other achivements;

  • All Island Poster Competition - 2003 equality for 'Women in Peace and Public Life' - Obtained Second Place and a Silver Medal.
  • The Third Children Art Competition 2003 - obtained a certificate - Iran
  • Enviornmental Pioneer Group - Sujatha Vidyalaya Matara - Obtained a certificate for participation.
  • Art Exhibition 2002 - Sujatha Balika Vidyalaya - Obtained a Merit at the Art Exhibition.
